Gumtree Guesthouse

The Gumtree is located on the banks of the Grobbelaars River with views of the historic Suspension Bridge and Swartberg Mountains, and our garden is a haven for many different types of birds. We are very central in town, only 2 minutes walk to the nearest restaurants. We also have braai/bbq facilities at the Pool Deck which many guests take advantage of.

Breakfast is included in our rates and features fresh home-baked bread, fruit-salad, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, plus a hot (cooked-to-order) breakfast of your choice. We are trying to offer as much local produce as possible in our breakfasts i.e. the bacon, sausage, milk, yoghurts, eggs, jams, and most of the cheese are locally produced.

Superior Double/Twin

This room has A/C, free WiFi, minbar, wall-safe, and complimentary tea/coffee. The room opens onto a deck with a view of the historic Suspension Bridge and Swartberg Mountains.

Cottage

The cottage is ideal for a family and has a main room with has double bed, couch, table and self-catering facilities. The smaller 2nd room has 2 single beds. Both rooms share a bathroom with shower. There is a outside seating area with bbq but no view.

Standard Twin

This room has A/C, fan, free WiFi, minbar, wall-safe, and complimentary tea/coffee. It has an external entrance with small outside seating area however there is no view as the room faces away from the garden.
