Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa stands at the edge of the world. On one side, a line of majestic mountains – The Twelve Apostles – reaches towards the heavens; on the other, the sun sets on breeching whales, playful dolphins, and crashing Atlantic rollers. And all around, you can walk the wilderness trails of the Table Mountain National Park. We’ll even pack you a picnic. And yet this luxury 5-star boutique hotel is just a few minutes from worldly, cosmopolitan Cape Town. City-centre theatres and art galleries, plus the shops and restaurants of the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are only 15 minutes away via our complimentary car transfer service – quicker still if you use our helipad.Nearest of all is the elegant area of Camps Bay with its beautiful golden beaches. Or, if you prefer adventure to sun-soaked relaxation, we can arrange sea fishing, shark and scuba diving, or whale watching trips.Further afield are the Cape Winelands (private tours by arrangement), notably the town of Hermanus where you can visit one of SA’s leading boutique vineyards, Bouchard Finlayson, see whales from the shore and, beyond that, the ancient tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet.

Classic Room

A Classic Room is the light and airy retreat that puts you at ease the moment you walk through the door. There’s a simple yet unforgettable elegance to a Classic Room. Here you’ll find crisp white linen, an en-suite bathroom, and impeccable good taste. It’s your own Cape paradise complete with a private patio overlooking our stunning fynbos gardens.

Mountain Facing Room

Prepare to be awestruck. A Mountain-Facing Room gives you a private balcony view of the towering Twelve Apostles mountain range. Full-height sliding windows let you choose between an interior of fine fabrics, tasteful furnishings, and a sparkling en-suite bathroom or views across the distant fynbos. This is untamed nature and 21st-century luxury in simple harmony.

Luxury Room

With more floor space and partial views of mountain and sea, a Luxury Room gives you space to breathe and time to relax. There’s a choice of decor in sophisticated styles – safari, stamp, shell and natural – that encapsulate the Cape’s enduring tradition of hospitality. Ground-floor rooms have a private patio; upper-floor rooms come with a private balcony; all have superb en-suite facilities.

Superior Sea Facing Room

“Maximising the experience of the heavenly marriage between sea and sky….” Why visit the Cape if you can’t observe the sea? These split-level, open-plan rooms appear to sweep straight down to the Atlantic. Three steps separate your bedroom and en-suite bathroom from the lower-level lounge and its accompanying balcony or patio. Take dinner from this private vantage point and see the sun set over the crashing rollers.

Garden Suite

If you love seclusion, you’ll love our Garden Room with its private garden, flower-filled patio, and open-air jacuzzi. Indoors you’ll find a gloriously airy lounge with separate bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. The easygoing decor and furnishings add to the sense of stillness and relaxed intimacy. This is how life should be: luxurious, unhurried, and filled with birdsong.

One Bedroom Mountain Facing Suite

a One-Bedroom Suite gives you the best of both worlds. Outside, there’s an uninterrupted view of the Cape wilderness; inside, a taste of spacious modern luxury with separate lounge and bedroom, a large bathroom and separate toilet. These suites are as timeless as the service that supports it.
