The African classroom is where learning comes to life. Enrich your curriculum with meaningful multisensory learning experiences or add a character building African adventure to your next summer holiday program.

Our school group programs are designed for learners between the ages of 14 to 17 years. The structure typically includes an authentic conservation exercise, cultural immersion in the form of a community outreach initiative and land or water based adventure activities. Although the general theme is African Safari, the adventure will by no means end there. Our groups visit on average 3 to 4 diverse regions per trip, maximizing their exposure to various biomes, cultures and area specific wildlife. Students will enjoy surfing and snorkeling from pristine beaches, scenic mountain hikes, truly wild game drives and bush walks, interaction with community children, traditional cooking lessons, star gazing and so much more! All component are facilitated by qualified and reputable experts in the field. We work closely with our long standing and credible suppliers to ensure the safety and enjoyment of each participant.

Travel Tips

For easier check-in book flights through your airline’s groups’ department

Consider and suggest a minimalist approach to packing. A good rucksack carry-on bag will ensure luggage is not misplaced in transit and save time and hassle on arrival

Pack adequate sun protection and warmer items of clothing for early morning and evening game drives. Stick to earthy and neutral colored clothing for your safari component. We will make a comprehensive packing list available to you at the time of booking

Why not offer your students a digital detox? Collect electronic devices and watches at the start of the program and allow them the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and connect with themselves and one another

Encourage learners to work through mammal/ birding checklists and to journal daily

Opt for Malaria free reserves. Should this not be an option speak to your medical practitioner regarding the necessary precautions for your needs and specific to your area of travel

Bring along a durable water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, poncho, microfiber quick dry travel towel and a lightweight practical day back pack for walks and hikes. Binoculars and cameras are a must!
